Double Bedroom
Huge super-comfortable double 6 foot wide bed with his and her sides of the mattress. Egyptian cotton linen, soft, warm goose down duvet and pillows and hot blankets to turn on if needed.
You can help yourself to different types of tea and coffee in your room, fresh milk provided any time.
Books and magazines abound but best of all there is peace all around.
This warm bathroom is known as the Paradise bathroom and I hope you will agree.
Wallow in the luxurious bath filled with smellies or share your shower – it is more than big enough. You do not have to share your basin though, there is one each.
This paradise has plenty of room for a cot.
Twin Bedroom
These original iron beds have new Scottish, extra-wide 3’6″ mattresses. Lovely Egyptian cotton linen, goose-down duvets and pillows make them cosy and luxurious to sink into even without the hot blankets switched on.
Tea and coffee are on a tray, with fresh milk on call.
Relax and sit in the two chairs and flick through the books and magazines or watch the cattle, sheep and donkey in the fields. You may even hear the owls hooting or see the swallows arriving back.
If you open your door and take one step you will be at your private bathroom.
The old bath has been kept, which has an unusual plug system, but is just the right size to get your shoulders under the bubbly water and spend time reading, with masses of hot water to top up.
There is also a shower.
Nursery Bedroom
This bedroom is the former ‘Nursery’ at Chipperkyle! The bedroom has plenty of space with two armchairs and a table.
There is another comfortable double 6 foot wide bed with his and her sides of the mattress. Lovely soft duvet and pillows, and hot blankets to turn on if needed.
Help yourself to the different types of tea and coffee in your room. Ask for fresh milk any time.
Relax here, and enjoy the peaceful view over the garden from the window.
Just around the corner is a spacious and colourful private bathroom. It is called the Hippo bathroom – I wonder if can tell why? Check out the decorative tiles!
There is a beautiful view from the bath over Chipperkyle hill at the rear of the house. An adjoining WC is just a few steps away.
There is a sepatate small Single Bedroom adjoining the Nursery Bedroom – perfect for an additional guest or child.
The cost for bed and breakfast is £125 per night for 2 people sharing
